"I have been working with Julie over the last few months with much excitement and success. Through recent hardship in my life, I have found that she provided me with many tools to help me through extremely difficult and unexpected situations; not only did I learn to maintain my goal of peace of mind and stress reduction, but found maturity as well. Somehow, she always knows what I need to focus on! As we continue to work together I am thrilled with the learning opportunities I have experienced with her in even such a short time."
"I would recommend Julie to anyone looking for a coach to help them learn and thrive. I have found peace through not only her calm and collected personality, but also through her incredible kindness and support. If you do choose to spend your time with her, I hope that your experiences are the same as mine."

"When I met Julie, I was expecting an overhaul of my professional self. I am very type A and have been often called a workaholic. My plan for this opportunity with Julie was to continue that streak, but further streamlining my professional life. Instead, I got a miracle – Julie. From our first meeting, I had begun to question my perspective on the balance of our busy lives and how I might adjust that to live a more fulfilled one, with meaning in my day-to-day, in my career, but also in my life. About halfway through our work together, I suffered a stroke. In my twenties, this was the last thing I expected, and I found myself totally out of my element. I had no answers, no control, no sense of self, and no idea what to do next."
"Looking back now, I can see that while it was scary, it was also fortuitous. Not just that the stroke happened, but that I had a stroke while working with Julie. Her perspective building and ability to lead me on a path, but not choose one for me, really helped me grow. As I walk along in my day to day now, I often recall the things we discussed and practiced during our work together. These things include a simple meditation, a moment of breathing, a re-balancing of life. What is important to me? What do I need to do right now? What actually matters?"
"My favorite teaching of all, which was applied to some difficult relationships in my life, came from her analogy of a buffalo in a pond. No matter how many ripples or waves, it is what I CHOOSE to do with it that makes the moment what it is, regardless of how much that buffalo is moving around and making waves. That thought has crossed over into so many pieces of my life, I can’t even count them anymore."
"Instead, I now think about that often, and remind myself to stay grounded. I start and finish each day that way, and I have found, because of the timing of two things fortuitously – being so sick and having Julie to get me well – I am on a different course. We can change our minds, our hearts, our neural networks, and habits and pathways. If you are looking for that (or even if you don’t know you’re looking for that) – Julie is someone who can help you get there – offer a gentle new perspective and help you find your way."
— Elizabeth Wendel MSW, LSW.

"I am happy to prepare this testimonial on behalf of Julie Schelling. As a speaker in a group forum, Julie is an outstanding presenter who easily captures and inspires her audience. Much like the tone of her new book, Invitation to Believe, Julie speaks from the heart with conviction and passion. Julie provides a professional presentation with a unique interpersonal style that comfortably addresses her audience and evokes a participatory response from her listener. It is fascinating to see a room full of people, both men and women alike, with their eyes closed, calmly and deeply taking ten breaths according to the pace directed by Julie. The power of this speaker is evidenced by the heads nodding in unison and the unanimous "yeses" being mumbled when Julie asks her audience how the ten deep breaths felt."
"Her presentation is interesting and clear from both verbal and graphic perspectives. By offering specific life examples and specific direction, Julie motivates her audience to take control of their personal path. The audience is left with important tools to utilize daily to self-motivate and to regain energy. I have personally witnessed Julie Schelling's public speaking skills, and without hesitation, I recommend Julie as a motivational speaker."
